What are probiotics?
Probiotics are bacteria that have a positive effect on health and vitality. They are live bacteria that improve the balance of our intestinal flora. The word „probiotic“ literally means „for life“.
Our intestinal flora plays an important role in the effectiveness of the body's immune system. No less than 70% of our immune system is located in the intestine. That is why it is so important to keep the intestines healthy. Our digestive system contains billions of bacteria that are constantly multiplying. Some of them are useful, others are not.
A balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle provide our bodies with the bacteria they need. However, the balance between beneficial and less beneficial bacteria can be upset by stress, exhaustion, the use of antibiotics and other medications, the consumption of fatty foods or alcohol, pregnancy, illnesses such as flu or fever, travel, unbalanced diets, etc.
A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle provide our bodies with the bacteria they need.

Why Probactiol®?
The right amount of probiotics
There is no generally valid statement about the minimum intake of probiotics. However, scientific studies have shown that 25 billion bacteria colonize the entire intestine faster (within 24 hours) and thus restore the balance more quickly.

The high dosage per capsule makes it easy to take. In most cases, one capsule daily is sufficient. If swallowing the capsule is difficult, its contents can be mixed in a glass of water or orange juice.

Selecting the strains
Probiotics can differ by genus (e.g., lactobacillus), species (e.g., acidophilus), and strain (e.g., NCFM®). Most strains have not been analyzed in detail. Probactiol® uses only the best probiotic strains that have been proven to be safe and have positive effects on health.

How to take Probactiol®?
In most cases, one capsule per day is sufficient. At what time of day it is taken does not matter. The probiotic ast&aum; contained in Probactiol® are resistant to stomach and bile acid and üsurvive passage through the stomach during the meal. In practice, it is easier to take Probactiol® in the morning at breakfast with a glass of water. Probactiol® is neutral in taste. If you want, you can open the capsule and mix the powder with some yogurt. When taking antibiotics, it is recommended to take Probactiol® at least 2 hours after taking the antibiotics (see instructions for use of antibiotics).
Recommended when taking antibiotics
Antibiotics are drugs that kill bacteria and prevent them from growing. They do not distinguish between good and harmful bacteria, so health-promoting bacteria are also destroyed. Frequently, the intake of antibiotics leads to digestive disorders (diarrhea, nausea, feeling sick). After antibiotic treatment, a probiotic makes it possible to increase the number of good bacteria again.
