Kelosoft®

Kelosoft® is a cream for treating scars that contains the active substance green oil (from the henbane plant). It has a softening and smoothing effect on thick scars. After several months of treatment with Kelosoft®, the scars will gradually disappear. Visible success is usually obtained after 6 to 12 months. Kelosoft® can also be used after a certain period of time as a preventive measure to avoid scarring after skin injuries (burns and cuts) and operations.

Dosage & Application

Adults: every evening before going to sleep, massage a little cream into the scar with the fingertips for 2 to 3 minutes, then cover with gauze if necessary. The treatment should be continued daily without interruption. The treatment may take several weeks or even months depending on the extent and severity of the previous poor scarring. Consistent, regular use is essential.

Follow the dosage specified in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the effect of the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or chemist. The use and safety of Kelosoft® has not been tested on children.

Composition

1 g of Kelosoft® cream contains: henbane oil 500 mg; hydroxylated lanolin; collagen; macrogol 400; aromatic substances; preservative: methylparaben (E 218); as well as other ointment excipients.
