Olbas®

Olbas® Oil is a herbal medicine composed of 3 different essential oils. Olbas® Oil is suitable for inhalation and rubbing into the skin. It can be used to treat cold symptoms such as a runny nose, catarrh, a sore throat and coughing.

Application

Dry inhalation: place a few (1 to 3) drops onto a clean handkerchief and inhale.

Wet inhalation: add 3 to 5 drops of Olbas® Oil to a basin of hot water and inhale the vapours. As soon as the oil has evaporated, add another 3 to 5 drops to the water. This water vapour inhalation should last a maximum of 10 minutes. Keep yourself warm after use!

Rubbing onto the neck and chest: apply Olbas® Oil (10 to 20 drops) up to 5 times a day and cover warmly.

Wash your hands well after use. Eyes and mucous membranes should not come into contact with the product.

The use and safety of Olbas® Oil has not been tested on children and adolescents. Follow the dosage specified in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or chemist.

Composition

1 g of oil contains: peppermint oil 435 mg, eucalyptus oil 400 mg, cajuput oil 100 mg, aromatic substances (wintergreen oil, juniper berry oil, clove oil).
1 g of oil corresponds to 1.09 ml or approx. 40 drops.
