curcumin-Loges®
Dietary supplement with curcuma extract and vitamin D
The plant, also known as the Siam tulip, has played an important role in Indian tradition for centuries. Substances Curcuma (turmeric, Curcuma longa) - also known as the yellow gold of Asia - from the ginger family is known as a spice that gives curry powder its intense colour.
However, the curcuma root is much more than just a spice. The plant, also known as the Siam tulip, has played an important role in Indian tradition for centuries. Substances from the rhizome of the plant are of particular importance: the curcuminoids with their lead substance curcumin.
Unlocking the power of the root
Curcumin cannot be easily absorbed by the human body due to its very poor water solubility. For this reason, very high intake levels of a conventional extract are sometimes recommended. However, as most of the curcumin absorbed via the digestive tract is quickly excreted again, this recommendation has no significant benefit. Modern research has succeeded in "solving" this problem in the truest sense of the word. These findings led to the development of curcumin-Loges®.
What is special about curcumin-Loges®?
curcumin-Loges® contains the valuable ingredients of the curcuma root in a form that is particularly easy for the human organism to utilise. Following nature's example, the curcumin has been "packaged" using state-of-the-art technology. The human body uses similar packaging techniques to absorb and utilise fat-soluble vitamins from milk, for example.
This special process transforms the curcumin in curcumin-Loges® into a form that can be utilised by the body. A study** shows that the curcumin contained in curcumin-Loges® can be absorbed around 185 times better than from native powder (measured as curcumin plasma concentration using the "area under the curve" (AUC)).
curcumin-Loges® contains vitamin D. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and a normal function of the immune system.

Keep moving
- Do regular endurance training to strengthen your muscles and joint cartilage. Swimming and cycling, for example, are particularly easy on the joints.
- Regular strength training (such as weight lifting and jumping rope) is also recommended. Ask a trainer or sports doctor to draw up a balanced training programme that strengthens all muscles equally.
- Don't forget that every single step, every muscle tension counts towards maintaining balance. Stretching movements and loosening and "shaking out" are just as important.
- Look for a sport that is fun and meets your needs. The search is worthwhile.
- Make phone calls standing up and hold short meetings standing up.
